Scianna renovations remodeled our condo last year. We had 2 bathroom renovations kitchen renovation, flooring, doors, trim and painting. They did it all. The workers were professional, clean and courteous. The job stayed on target. They worked diligently to keep things moving.
“A dream come true” I’m so glad Houzz connected me with Jonathan when I was looking for contractors to remodel a mid century split level. I have never undertaken any remodeling projects and so doing a whole house remodel was extremely daunting despite the number of HGTV shows I had watched. Looking back I have to say that it was Jonathan who made the process smooth and easy. Jonathan has excellent design ideas (I did not use a designer for the project). I had created a folder of photographs from Houzz on ideas I liked for bathroom kitchen etc. Through these he understood my style and showed me fixtures that matched! The process of picking up fixtures for the house was actually made easy and fun( the best part of the remodel experience). One of the pictures I showed him was an built -in-entertainment center. He replicated it and added his design elements… Reclaimed wood from an old fence, glass shelves, lighting… And it looks spectacular! My master bath was really small and I wanted to expand into the adjoining bedroom….This would have increased cost……Jonathan convinced me to keep the same footprint And chose fixtures and tile that makes it look luxurious. It’s a joy to walk into it every morning. It was easy to communicate with him. He gave me regular updates. I would often come home from work and text him after reading his email updates not realizing that it was late ( 8 pm at times) and invariably would get a text back! I trusted his decision every step of the way. In the end I got the house of my dreams! The final “reveal” surpassed any HGTV show!
Jonathan and his crew took on several big projects for us, and we couldn't be happier: - Building new front steps to our ~1925 home to include a more practical landing near the front door - Demolishing and refinishing our entire basement and laundry room, including installing new lighting, painting, and more - Installing a new front door - Freshening up our mudroom with new flooring and fresh paint Initially, we hired Jonathan and his team to tear down our deteriorating front steps and rebuild them to extend outward so a proper landing at the top could be made and visitors could safely approach our door. We were so happy with how it was turning out that we kept sending more projects his way! We absolutely love how all of them turned out. Jonathan is incredibly responsive, caring, down-to-earth, and has great attention to detail. No question to him is too mundane and he seems to relish trying to find the "right" solution for any project at-hand. He was always on-time, very respectful of our time, fair in terms of time and cost, and always put his best foot forward to make our projects look and function as best as they could. If an issue arose, he always took the time to explain our options and the merits of all of them. We always felt like we were in good hands with Jonathan -- so much that we've since recommended his team to others.
We were recommended to Scianna Renovations by a friend for our kitchen renovation. We saw pictures of some of the kitchens that they have done and they looked as good as any of the kitchens you would see on HGTV or in the magazines. We had previously been to a few different places for quotes and design ideas. Our kitchen was an odd shape/size so we thought we had the best layout possible given our constraints, but after talking to Jonathan, he found a lot of creative ways to add storage and get us the kitchen that we have always wanted but didn’t think we could build. The other places never bothered to take as much time to do so. And when we got the quote for cabinets and supplies, we were pleasantly surprised to find out the pricing was better than all of the other places we went to, as well. Even after helping us order cabinets, Jonathan continued to follow up to make sure we were completely satisfied with the design and that we didn’t run into any issues with installation. We’ve dealt with other companies in the past that disappear after getting paid, and that is definitely not the case with this one. I have recommended Scianna Renovations to all of my friends and family since, and I am writing this review from our beautifully remodeled kitchen. You will not be disappointed in choosing them, either.
When I first purchased my home, it was a foreclosure and needed some work. I hired Scianna Renovations to remodel the entire home, and they did an amazing job. Completely redesigned the layout for the Kitchen, Master Bath, and Laundry Room. Installed new flooring and light fixtures throughout the house, as well as a fresh coat of paint. They did quality work, were able to accommodate the design changes I wanted, as well as providing other ideas as well. Would highly recommend.
Great quality work. Awesome attention to detail and easy to work work with. In addition to being able to deliver on time, he had a lot of design knowledge which was a huge value. We will definitely use again and refer Scianna Renovations to friends and family.
